About National Internship Portal (NIP)

The National Internship Portal (NIP) is a national digital platform led by the Myanmar Digital Economy Association (MDEA) through its Open Academy initiative, and aligned with the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST).

The portal is designed to connect university students and fresh graduates with verified internship opportunities in the IT and business sectors, bridging the gap between education and industry.

NIP promotes a transparent and structured internship process, ensuring fair access for students and trusted participation from employers. All internships listed on the platform are curated to support real workplace exposure, skills development, and employability.

Through the portal, interns who successfully complete their programs will receive internship certificates, supporting their career progression and readiness for the digital economy.
